Infinix is set to launch the NOTE 40x 5G on August 1st, the latest addition to the NOTE 40 lineup, making it the sixth member and cheapest of the series. This new release shows how popular the NOTE 40 series is, and how Infinix plans to cater for all pocket sizes.

Specifications of the NOTE 40x 5G
The Infinix NOTE 40x 5G has a 6.78-inch FHD+ LCD display, the only device without an AMOLED panel in the NOTE 40 series. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 500 nits.
Similar to the other NOTE 40 series siblings, the NOTE 40x 5G will have a 108-megapixel triple rear camera setup with a quad LED ring flash and over 15 camera modes. For selfies, there’s an 8MP camera housed at the front of the device.
The NOTE 40x 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card. It runs on XOS 14, based on the Android 14 operating system.
The 5,000 mAh battery has 18W wired charging, which is the slowest charging speed in the lineup. Notably, there’s no support for wireless charging onboard.
Other features include 5G, NFC, Wi-Fi 5, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual speakers with DTS Audio, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The NOTE 40x 5G will be available in three colour options, namely Lime Green, Palm Blue, and Starlit Black.
The NOTE 40x 5G is listed on the Infinix store on Shopee Malaysia for RM869 (about 186 USD).
