Infinix has officially launched the GT 20 Pro gaming phone in Saudi Arabia, the successor to last year’s GT 10 Pro. The GT 20 Pro’s highlights include a bezel-less 144Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, a dedicated gaming Display chip with a Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor, and support for up to 24GB of extended RAM.

Featuring its iconic Cyber Mecha design, which sports a refined C-shaped RGB light, the phone has a clean and pure OS with no bloatware, a stable Frame-rate Engine, and Dual speakers with Sound by JBL. Let’s look at the full specifications.

Infinix GT 20 Pro specifications

The Infinix GT 20 Pro sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with slim bezels, with the bottom bezel measuring only 2.1nm, allowing it to offer a screen-to-body ratio of 94.3%. The display has an FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 230Hz PWM dimming, a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, and a DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The GT 20 Pro is powered by a Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, which can be extended up to 24 GB using an additional 12 GB of virtual RAM. You also get 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage onboard.

There’s also a Pixelworks X5 Turbo dedicated gaming display, making this phone the first Infinix phone to have a dual chip. The chip utilises Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) and Game Optical Optimisation tech to achieve up to 120 FPS frame rates.

Infinix notes that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), Free Fire, and Call of Duty (COD) can reach up to 90 FPS, while Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Genshin Impact, and Honkai: Star Rail can reach up to 120 FPS.

Additionally, the phone is equipped with JBL dual speakers and an x-axis linear motor for in-game vibration.

The GT 20 Pro runs on XOS 14 for GT, which is based on Android 14. Infinix says the operating system offers a bloatware-free experience and will receive two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security patches.

In the camera department, the GT 20 Pro has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 108MP main primary sensor (Samsung HM6 with OIS) alongside two 2MP sensors. On the front, a 32MP selfie camera is housed in the phone’s punch-hole display.

There’s a 5,000mAh battery onboard with the same 45W fast charging as last year’s GT 10 Pro. It supports charging functionalities such as PD 3.0, Hyper Charge Mode and Bypass charging.

Other features of the GT 20 Pro include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, a USB-C port, an IP blaster, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device is IP54-rated, dustproof, and water-resistant, measures 164.26 x 75.43 x 8.15mm, and weighs 194 grams.
