Infinix has launched the SMART 9 ultra-budget smartphone in Bangladesh, the successor to the 2023 SMART 8 line-up. The Infinix SMART 8 series was a huge success and was among the top ultra-budget smartphones for the first and second quarters of 2024. This new SMART 9 ultra-budget smartphone retails for less than $100.

The Infinix SMART 9 sports a 6.7-inch LCD (720 x 1600), 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits, punch hole with Dynamic Bar.

The SMART 9 is powered by an MTK Helio G81 processor, which Infinix claims has 48-month fluency. It offers 3GB/4GB RAM options, up to 6GB/8GB virtual RAM, and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The internal storage can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD.

There’s a 5,000mAh battery onboard with 10W wired charging, USB Type-C, and no FastCharge. The front display has an 8MP selfie camera, a 13MP sensor at the rear for photos and videos, and an LED flashlight that can lighten up the place up to 5M during emergencies.

The Infinix SMART 9 runs on XOS 14.5-based Android 14 Go Edition out of the box. Infinix will provide at least one year of Android security patches.

Infinix says the device is durable and drop-resistance certified, with a guarantee for long-term use.

The Infinix SMART 9 comes in two configurations. The 3GB/64GB version costs 9,999 TK in Bangladesh, which is about 84 USD, and the 4GB/128GB version costs 11,999 TK in Bangladesh, which is about 100.40 USD.

The phone is available in four colours: Metallic Black, Neo Titanium, Mint Green, and Sandstone Gold.
