Infinix has launched the ZERO 40 series globally, the successor to the 2023 ZERO 30 series. This lineup consists of the ZERO 40 4G and the ZERO 40 5G, with both devices offering premium specs at competitive prices.
The Infinix ZERO 40 5G sports a 6.74-inch (1080 x 2436 pixels) 3D-curved 144Hz AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 1,300nits peak brightness and a TÜV Rheinland Eye-care Mode certification.
Powering the device is a MediaTek D8200 Ultimate 5G 4 nm Processor with 12GB of RAM, which can be expanded to 24GB RAM (12GB RAM + 12GB RAM). You also get XOS 14.5, based on Android 14, 2 years of Android upgrades (up to Android 16), and 3 Years of Security Patch Updates.
Onboard, there’s 256GB or 512GB of internal storage to store all your photos, videos, and apps without worry. However, the Infinix ZERO 40 5G does not offer a memory card slot option for memory expansion.
In the camera department, the Infinix ZERO 40 5G has a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 50-megapixel selfie camera is also on the front display.
There is a Vlog Mode built into the phone, dedicated to assisting with vlog creation, and a GoPro mode that allows users to connect the ZERO 40 with any GoPro device. When in use, users can manage paired GoPro devices from their smartphone and even use their phone display as a monitor to screen footage.
Other features include a 5,000mAh battery, support for 45W wired fast charge, which Infinix says can give the phone 50% juice in 25 minutes, 10W reverse wired charge, Bypass Charging 2.0, and 20W wireless fast charging. There’s also NFC connectivity and Google’s Gemini AI assistant onboard.
Infinix ZERO 40 5G Price and Availability
The Infinix ZERO 40 5G price starts at $399 for international markets, MYR 1,699 in Malaysia, and roughly Rs. 33,500 in India, though the price varies by region.
The NOTE 40 5G smartphone is available in Moving Titanium, Rock Black, and Violet Garden shades.
