Infinix ZERO 30 5G Android 14 (XOS 14) Update Timeline

Infinix has made the XOS 14 update download for the NOTE 30 series and the GT 10 Pro gaming smartphone. So why hasn’t there been an Infinix ZERO 30 5G XOS 14 update or an Android 14 update on the more affordable ZERO 30 4G?

The ZERO series is Infinix’s flagship line-up. It emphasizes premium-grade specifications such as high-quality displays, powerful processors, advanced camera capabilities, and other innovative features, being offered at an affordable rate.

An Infinix ZERO smartphone usually tops releases from other Infinix line-ups, such as NOTE, HOT, GT, and SMART, and receives the most headlines. Last year, the ZERO 5G 2023 and ZERO 30 5G were Infinix’s biggest releases for the year 2023.

Similarly, the upcoming ZERO 40 5G and ZERO Flip will be Infinix’s biggest releases for 2024. So, what’s the holdup with the ZERO 30 XOS 14 update? Let’s see.

Infinix ZERO 30 4G Android 14 Update

Infinix released XOS 14 for the NOTE 30 series, which was launched in May last year. Next, the smartphone maker released the GT 10 Pro Android 14 update, given the gaming smartphone was launched in August 2023.

Though the Transsion-owned brand isn’t the best when it comes to XOS updates, it does follow a pattern for these releases. Infinix launched the ZERO 30 4G in September 2023, which automatically makes it the next in line to receive the Android 14 update.

Infinix ZERO 30 5GAndroid 14 Update

Like the ZERO 30 4G, the Infinix ZERO 30 5G Android 14 update will be released in the third quarter of 2024. However, the Chinese smartphone maker has not provided much information about the exact release date.

A dig on Google Play Console shows the listing still has Android 13 (XOS 13) and hasn’t been updated to Android 14. Usually, they get updated when their release date draws near.

Even though the listing hasn’t changed yet, we believe that Infinix will still follow schedule and roll out the XOS 14 update as supposed. We will update this article whenever there is a new update to this.
