Infinix is preparing to launch its first-ever tablet device, the XPad, as revealed by a Google Play Console listing. The imminent launch has also been confirmed by the tablet’s appearance in an IMEI database.
Infinix XPad Specifications:
According to the Google Play Console listing, the XPad tablet will come in two variants: an 8GB RAM version with model number X1101B and a 4GB RAM version with model number X1101.
The tablet will come with XOS 14 (based on Android) out of the box, an MTK processor and a display with 1200 x 1920 resolution. We don’t know if the display panel will be AMOLED or LCD.
Design-wise, the tablet has rounded edges and curved bezels that aren’t thick. The front camera and flash are housed in the bezel at the middle of the device, when it’s held in a landscape form.
The volume and power buttons and the front-facing camera are placed on the same side. We don’t have information on the other specs, such as internal storage, charging speed, or if it will be available in Wi-Fi only, or Wi-Fi + LTE.
We anticipate an affordably priced mid-range tablet with solid specs and excellent value for money, enabling it to compete with established brands like Redmi, Poco, and others in the tablet market.
Over the years, Infinix Mobile has successfully expanded into major markets across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and beyond. Thanks to its compelling offerings and competitive pricing, the brand has garnered significant demand, particularly among young demographics.
