The Infinix HOT 50 Pro Plus Android 15 update is now available for download. The Transsion-owned brand began rolling out the XOS 15 update to users in the Philippines over a week ago and will subsequently expand to other regions.

According to the listing on the Google Play Console, Infinix has updated the Infinix HOT 50 Pro Plus Android version from 14 to 15, and OTA updates are expected to reach many regions by the end of the month.
Just as some NOTE 40 and GT 20 users complained of not receiving the update on time, regional restrictions, approvals and other factors will also delay this update for others. This is a common occurrence with all major updates.

How to check if your Infinix Hot 50 Pro Plus update to Android 15 is available
Ensure you have at least a 50% battery charge on your phone before proceeding with the update.
- Open the Settings app on your Infinix phone.
- Scroll down and tap System.
- Tap System again, then select System Update.
- If an update is available, you’ll see a Download option.
- Choose whether to use Wi-Fi or mobile data for the download.
- After the download completes, tap Install.
- Your phone will automatically reboot and install the update.
To perform a local update on Infinix, select “Local Update“, locate the Infinix Android update file you downloaded, and click on it to proceed with the installation.

After I updated to Version 15.1.1, my phone became slow and unresponsive. The fingerprint sensor doesn’t work properly anymore, the brightness of the Always-On Display has dimmed, and the lock screen design has changed. When I reset the phone, all of my previous settings and customizations disappeared.
