Chinese brands dominated the Russian smartphone market in Q2 2024, with Infinix, TECNO, and OnePlus leading in sales growth. However, the prices of smartphones across major brands decreased by 6%, according to an Avito smartphone sales report.
Avito analysts say traditional leaders like Apple and Samsung showed more moderate growth. Meanwhile, Transsion brands Infinix and TECNO had the highest year-on-year sales growth.
Infinix’s sales doubled, while TECNO saw a 69% increase, reflecting their rising popularity in the Russian market. OnePlus, another Chinese brand, also saw a 23% increase in sales.

The market share leaders in Russia are still Apple, Samsung, and Xiaomi. Apple leads with a 63% market share, Samsung 12%, Xiaomi 11%, Honor 3% and realme 2%.

The second quarter of 2024 saw a notable decrease in smartphone prices on Avito compared to the first quarter. This trend was observed both in the new and resale segments.
