Infinix has launched the NOTE 40 series, its latest mid-range model, which comprises the NOTE 40, NOTE 40 Pro, NOTE 40 Pro 5G, and the premium model, the NOTE 40 Pro Plus 5G.
The NOTE 40 series features a vibrant and responsive 3D curved 120Hz AMOLED display, a 108MP super-zoom camera system with OIS support, up to 24 GB of extended RAM for gamers, enhanced charging tech in Infinix’s All-Round FastCharg 2.0 technology, which supports multi-function charging modes, AI enhancements, and more.
Let’s look at the major highlights of the Infinix NOTE 40 series.
Advanced Charging Features of the NOTE 40 Series
The latest Infinix offerings include the new All-Round Fast Charge 2.0 technology, an upgrade from last year’s All-Round Fast Charge on the NOTE 30 series.
Powered by Infinix’s first self-developed Cheetah X1 chip, this new charging solution supports MagCharge and 100W Multi-Speed FastCharge, which Infinix says can boost your phone to 50% in just 8 minutes when in hyper mode.
The Cheetah X1 chip features three power management modules to tackle low battery life issues and ensure ample power for everyday use. The first is the High-precision Power Detection Module, which specialises in monitoring current and voltage in real-time, ensuring accurate charging adjustments. It balances efficiency with temperature control, preserving battery health and extending device lifespan.
The second is the Safety Module. This combines 63 comprehensive protection measures to cover an extensive range of potential risks associated with charging. Activated automatically via the chip’s monitoring and recognition capabilities, these safeguards relay crucial information to the phone’s other protocols. This data can then prompt user alerts, significantly enhancing overall user convenience.
The third is the All-round Support Module, which supports eight charging scenarios to suit users’ needs and ensure peak performance. This module allows your phone to handle various charging functions, such as 100W multi-speed wired charging, wireless charging, wired reverse charging, wireless reverse charging, bypass charging, AI protection for nighttime charging, -20°C extreme temperature technology, and multi-protocol charging.
The Extreme-Temp Tech ensures your Infinix phone charges even in frigid temperatures as low as -20 °C, making it perfect for snowy conditions. Meanwhile, Bypass Charging 2.0 filters current, directing power straight to the motherboard during demanding tasks like gaming or video playback to prevent overheating.
According to Infinix, the new Cheetah X1 chip outperforms traditional ones by 204%, explaining that the chip’s small size meant that electrical data doesn’t have to travel far inside the phone. Reduced distance translates to lower heat generation, leading to enhanced overall performance.
Reverse wireless charging allows you to share your battery juice with other devices (wired or wirelessly) at up to 10W speed. The wireless charging functionality is boosted to 20W from last year’s 15W, while the PD3.0 protocol support allows charging your laptop with your Infinix phone charger.
Infinix also included the MagPower power bank, the Magpad charging pad, and the MagCase for your phone.

Infinix also renewed its deal with HARMAN’s audio and tech brand, JBL, to enable it to deliver immersive and superior sound quality on the NOTE 40 series.
Dual Video Mode: Capturing Events from Different Perspectives
In the camera department, the NOTE 40 lineup comes with enhanced camera capability for photos and videos. The 108MP onboard features advanced in-sensor zoom technology and 3x lossless Superzoom, ensuring clear, detailed long-distance shots. The Pro series further enhances photography with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), minimizing camera shake for sharper, more stable images.
