Infinix 720° SphereTech NFC

Infinix Sets New Standards with 720° SphereTech NFC Tech

Posted on 24 July 202426 November 2025 by James David

Infinix has introduced its innovative 720-degree (720°) SphereTech Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, which aims to significantly enhance the versatility and reliability of NFC applications on mobile devices.

Current NFC technology supports mobile payments and transit access but frequently causes transaction failures and user frustration. This issue is particularly noticeable in crowded or fast-paced settings where precise alignment is required for successful interactions, making the process unreliable.

To solve this problem, Infinix’s 720° SphereTech NFC technology features expanded signal coverage and unmatched stability, ensuring seamless performance from any angle.

The technology features three major breakthroughs in spatial layout, signal compatibility, and material type configuration, resulting in superior integration, increased card reading area by 200%, and doubled signal range. Notably, it supports reading and tapping cards from three sides of the mobile device, offering a 100% improvement in signal range compared to existing 360° NFC technology.

Infinix’s 720° SphereTech NFC technology not only enhances user convenience by reducing transaction failures and improving performance in busy public spaces but also boosts security with features like the ability to remotely disable NFC functions on lost or stolen devices. This innovation sets a new standard for NFC technology, demonstrating Infinix’s commitment to delivering meaningful innovations and enhancing user experiences.

“Our commitment to innovation and understanding user needs has driven us to create a solution that not only enhances functionality but also provides unparalleled security and convenience for our users. The 720° SphereTech NFC significantly improves the mobile experience in NFC applications, offering seamless, reliable, and secure interactions from multiple angles”, said Li Cao, Senior Manager, NFC Department of Infinix.
