Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ Could Be the Thinnest Curved Smartphone in the World

Posted on 21 May 202526 November 2025 by James David

Last year, Infinix released the HOT 50 Pro+ with a 6.8 mm body thickness. Now, the Chinese brand is upping things a notch with the launch of the HOT 60 Pro+, which comes with just 5.95 mm body thickness.

When launched, the HOT 60 Pro+ could be the slimmest phone with a curved display.

We’ve seen Samsung launch the Galaxy S25 Edge with a 5.8 mm body, while Apple is also expected to launch the iPhone 17 edge with a 5.5 mm body.

When sized against up the iPhone 15, we can see that the Infinix HOT 60 Pro+ appears slimmer, more comfortable and less bulky than the 7.8 mm thickness of the iPhone 15.

According to tipstar, Ice Universe who posted the hands-on images of the HOT 60 Pro+, Infinix has begun the production of the phone with the 5.95 mm thickness.

Do we really need Super Slim Phones in 2025?

For many users, the convenience, comfort, and sophisticated feel of a thin, elegant smartphone are compelling reasons why they are a desirable and important part of the evolving mobile landscape.

Then again, these super slim phones are pocket friendly and don’t create a buldge in your pocket, as they are easy to carry discreetly, whether in a jeans, small bag, or jacket for a long period of time. Other than that, they give the user this premium feel.

However, there are others who argue that super slim designs compromises the performance and overall functionality for mere aesthetics, given that there’s a high demand  for bigger batteries, bigger cameras (which causes bigger bumps), 5G modems and other needed antennas.

All these things eat up space in a smartphone.
